Musician portraits 

In addition to commissioned projects, I also try to take time for free painting projects. The largest series currently being created as a free project are the portraits of musicians. Here I mainly deal with musicians from my hometown Detmold. With the Hochschule für Musik and venues such as the Kaiserkeller, Detmold has always stood for music and culture for me. 
My series of Detmold musician portraits features both well-known greats and musicians whom I personally associate with Detmold and its music. 
For the time being, the project is limited in time until summer 2023, when the large-format paintings will be exhibited in the Stadthalle Detmold, which regularly offers musicians a stage.

Musician portraits from rock and pop

Besides Detmold musicians, I also paint other musicians from rock and pop. The passion and feeling for music is what interests me.
